TSG Hoffenheim's new managing director for sport, Andreas Schicker, has hinted that he would like to tie Andrej Kramaric down to a new contract.
"Andrej plays a big role in my plans. He is a deserving player. I have told him that personally," Schicker told Sport Bild.
According to Sport Bild, Schicker plans to meet with Kramaric's agent in the near future to discuss a new deal for 33-year-old.
Kramaric's current deal expires at the end of the season, and the Bundesliga outfit are confident they will be able to agree an extension with him.
The 33-year-old attacker has become a club legend since joining from Leicester City in 2016.
In total, he has made 294 appearances for the club, scoring 137 goals and laying on 58 assists.
