Werder Bremen are apparently in danger of losing one of their most important players.

According to Sky Germany, the 29-year-old midfielder is in concrete talks with TSG Hoffenheim over a potential summer transfer.

While there is no agreement yet between the parties, Stage is said to be open to a move to the Sinsheim club, who would also need to agree a transfer fee with Werder to complete the deal.

At Hoffenheim, the midfielder could arrive as a replacement for Grischa Prömel, who is set to join VfB Stuttgart on a free transfer.

Stage, who finished as Werder’s top scorer with 10 goals in the 2025/26 campaign, is under contract until 2028.
