Jürgen Klopp joins Thomas Müller as pundit for the 2026 World Cup

Jürgen Klopp has followed Thomas Müller in taking a pundit role for the 2026 World Cup.

Former Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp will serve as a pundit for MagentaTV during the 2026 World Cup in the USA, Canada, and Mexico the streaming provider announced on Thursday.

“Jürgen Klopp embodies passion and pure football enthusiasm. That’s why it’s fantastic that he has chosen to work with us as a TV pundit once again,” said Telekom's Head of TV, Arnim Butzen.

Klopp, who was a pundit for ZDF during the 2006 World Cup and 2008 European Championship, is looking forward to returning to a TV role.

“I’m really excited to experience this World Cup from a pundit's perspective again. At the same time, I know that this marathon tournament will bring its own unique challenges,” said Klopp, who also serves as Red Bull’s Global Head of Soccer.

Former Bayern and Germany star Thomas Müller was previously announced as part of MagentaTV’s team for the tournament.
