Germany hope to maintain their perfect record in the 2027 Women’s World Cup qualifiers when they face Austria at BWT X Upper Austrian Arena on Saturday. Christian Wück’s side were victorious in the first meeting between the sides last Tuesday.

Despite their captain Guila Gwinn going off injured in the first-half, Germany managed to secure a 5-1 win. Chiara Anna D'Angelo’s solitary strike for Austria is the first goal Ann-Katrin Berger conceded in this qualifying campaign.

Vivien Endemann, who will join WSL side Liverpool when her Wolfsburg contract runs out at the end of the season, scored against all teams in the group. Jule Brand, Lea Schüller, and Elisa Senß all have a couple of goals so far in the qualifying stage as well.

Germany’s 14 goals in the three matches are the highest in League A qualifiers. Slovenia will host second-placed Norway in Ptuj in the other game from Germany’s group.

Austria: El Sherif; Hanshaw, Kirchberger, Wenger; Gutmann, Dunst, Schasching, Puntigam ©, D’Aneglo; Brunnthaler; Campbell
