Two attack-minded teams produced an extraordinary contest on Tuesday night, as Paris Saint-Germain edged Bayern Munich 5-4 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie.

After being named Player of the Match, PSG forward Ousmane Dembélé reflected on the dramatic encounter in an interview with Canal +.

“It was two teams that seek to attack that don't question themselves. It's the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. We know Bayern are a top team, and us too. We're happy with the result, despite being up 5-2,” Dembélé said, adding:

"We stopped playing a little by the end. Bayern are a top team. It was an incredible game, and now we'll go to Munich, hoping to get the win in order to qualify for the final."

Asked whether he expects a similar match in next week’s second leg in Munich, the Frenchman replied:

“Yes, we're two sides that want to attack. We won't change our philosophy. We want to attack and so do they, so I think a great game is in the offing.”
