When Bayern Munich host Paris Saint-Germain at the Allianz Arena for second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday, the visitors will be missing a key figure in defence.

PSG confirmed on Wednesday that Achraf Hakimi is set to be sidelined for “the next few weeks” after suffering a right thigh injury during their dramatic 5-4 first-leg victory over Bayern.

The Moroccan right-back will therefore play no part in the return leg in Munich, dealing a significant blow to the French champions.

Warren Zaire-Emery, who started in central midfield in the first leg, is likely to fill in at right-back in Hakimi's absence.
