Bundesligists Holstein Kiel have completed a loan out for underutilized Polish wingback Tymoteusz Puchacz. The 25-year-old heads to the Isle for the first time in his career, ideally gaining playing time with EFL Championship side Plymouth Argyle. The "Pilgrims" currently fight against relegation from the English second division, currently in last place and three points from safety.

Puchacz - now officially with his second German parent club - enters his fourth loan stint since joining 1. FC Union Berlin in 2021. The 15-times-capped Polish international finally caught on in Germany whilst on loan at 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the German second division last year, but hasn't been able to contribute much in the top flight since singing with Kiel over the summer.

Puchacz madę ten league and two cup appearances for Marcel Rapp's Storks. He started five times under Rapp and registered one assist during the match-day three loss against Bayern. England - after Turkey, Greece, and Germany - now constitutes his fourth station abroad outside of of his native country. He remain under contract in Kiel through 2028.

“Pucha has hoped for more playing time in recent weeks and approached us with the desire for a change," sporting director Carsten Wehlmann noted in a statement. "We carefully organized this loan and hope that he will gain match practice at a high level in England."
