As pre-season nears it's end, RB Leipzig have decided that Lutsharel Geertruida and Arthur Vermeeren can both leave the club.

Sky Germany is aware that the duo have been advised to seek a move, while Leipzig are also looking to bring in a new defensive midfielder.

A winger worthy of filling the void left by Yan Diomandé is also paramount, while a striker would be signed if Harder or Rômulo leave.

Another loan move has not been ruled out for the likes of Geertruida or Vermeeren, but a permanent sale is clearly the preferred option.

In addition to PSV Eindhoven, clubs from the Premier League and La Liga have also registered interest in the Dutch defender.

Teams from Saudi Arabia are also showing interest, with Leipzig open to a sale for around €20million, favouring a permanent transfer.

Meanwhile, Ayodele Thomas and Suleman Sani are allowed to leave on loan, with Leipzig hoping to guarantee them regular playing time.
