Bayer Leverkusen are "pushing" to sign Liverpool youngster Tyler Morton, according to Sky Germany.

The report claims that talks with Liverpool will take place on Tuesday over a loan with an option or obligation to buy.

Kicker and The Times have also reported Leverkusen's interest in the young holding midfielder.

The 21-year-old could replace Gustavo Puerta, who is set to join Hull City.

Morton spent last season out on loan at Hull, featuring 39 times for the Championship side with three goals and five assists to his name.
