Manchester City is the latest team to express interest in Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ektiké, according to Bild.

In addition to the Citizens, several other Premier League sides including Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool are also considering the player.

According to the popular German tabloid, however, the clubs' efforts so far have not gone beyond discussions with the player.

Frankfurt have not been contacted yet, but this could change after the Club World Cup. Then the interested parties will know what their transfer budget is for this summer.

Sporting director Markus Krösche recently said "if the boys deliver exceptional performances, we won't block anything. But we have to get what we want".
