Müller to follow the footsteps of Uli Hoeness?

Key figures at Bayern Munich reportedly see Thomas Muller as a potential future club boss.

Having spent his entire career at Bayern Munich, Thomas Müller is a player who truly embodies the values of the Bavarian club.

According to Abendzeitung, Müller could very well take up a position in the club's management after his career comes to an end, with big names at the club apparently trusting him to do so.

In fact, it's reported that there are hopes within the club that 34-year-old Müller could potentially follow in the footsteps of long-time club boss Uli Hoeness, who has remained a member of the supervisory board after stepping down as club president in November 2019.

At the moment, however, Müller is not giving much thought to the possibility, with the 34-year-old still enjoying his footballing career.

He last signed a contract with Bayern in December 2023, tying him to the club until the summer of 2025.

The 34-year-old is part of Germany's squad for Euro 2024.
