Confirmed: Nagelsmann absent against Gladbach

FC Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann will be absent against Gladbach in the DFB-Pokal as he's still in self-isolation due to COVID-19.
Bayern München coach Julian Nagelsmann has revealed that he will not be able to oversee Wednesday's DFB-Pokal tie against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Nagelsmann hasn't been present for Bayern's last two games after testing positive for COVID-19 and remains in self-isolation.

"Thank you, I'm alright. Everything is fine. Sadly I've not travelled to Gladbach as I'm still self-isolating," said Nagelsmann over a video call today.

"I did another test yesterday and unfortunately I'm not able to leave here yet."

With Nagelsmann still in domestic quarantine, the German champions will continue to be coached by the trio of Dino Toppmöller, Benjamin Glück and Xaver Zembrod.
