Baumgart tests positive for COVID-19

FC Köln coach Steffen Baumgart will not be present for Saturday's game against Freiburg after returning a positive coronavirus test.

Therefore, Baumgart will not be in the dugout for Saturday's Bundesliga clash with SC Freiburg.
"I didn't feel great this morning and did a rapid test at home. It turned out positive," said Baumgart, who is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
With Baumgart in isolation, assistant coach André Pawlak will be in charge of the team on Saturday.
"Everyone knows how much I look forward to every game. Therefore, it is a real shame that I'll miss the game against Freiburg. But our team is in good hands with André and the rest of the coaching staff," said Baumgart.
