Werder Bremen have secured the services of 20-year-old Serbian striker Jovan Milosevic on loan from VfB Stuttgart for the remainder of the season.

Milosevic has been brought in to replace Victor Boniface, who is unlikely to play for Werder Bremen again, with the Bayer Leverkusen loanee set to undergo knee surgery.

“We are pleased to have signed Jovan,” said Peter Niemeyer, Werder’s head of professional football.

“He is a young, talented striker who made very good progress during his most recent loan spell at Partizan Belgrade. He fits the profile we were looking for very well. Now we want to integrate him into our team as quickly as possible.”

Milosevic spent most of 2025 on loan at Partizan Belgrade, where he impressed by scoring 19 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions.

Reflecting on his move to Bremen, Milosevic said:

“I’m really looking forward to the challenge at this traditional club. I want to continue developing at Werder and in the Bundesliga and help the team achieve its goals.”
