Borussia Dortmund have signed Alexander Meyer on a free transfer from SSV Jahn Regensburg.
Borussia Dortmund have sealed the signing of Alexander Meyer from 2. Bundesliga side SSV Jahn Regensburg.
The 31-year-old joins BVB on a free transfer and has signed a two-year contract.
Following the departures of Marwin Hitz and Roman Bürki, Meyer has been brought in as the club's new second-choice goalkeeper behind Gregor Kobel.
"Alexander Meyer has convinced us both athletically and personally. In him, we get a very experienced goalkeeper who brings calmness and high quality as he has shown as a regular starter in Regensburg in recent years," said new Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
