Bayern Munich vs. Inter preview: Team news and predicted lineups

Having already won Group C, Julian Nagelsmann is likely to heavily rotate his squad ahead of their final match in Champions League group play.
Bayern look like their usual record champion selves once again without a loss in their last nine games, including a rout over Mainz this past weekend. Inter also haven't lost in their last seven competitive matches and are in improved form under Simone Inzaghi.

Benjamin Pavard, who’s currently unhappy with his role at the club, is likely to receive his wish of starting at center-back. Ryan Gravenberch also has a decent chance of a spot in the starting lineup with so many players out.

Julian Nagelsmann will choose between Mathys Tel and Eric Choupo-Moting for the no. 9 role, while wingers Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry could both receive spots in the first eleven.

In his press conference, Nagelsmann said, "We're going to rotate tomorrow because a few players are tired. We want to win the game and we still have important games ahead of us in the Bundesliga. Other players will have the chance to show up tomorrow. 18 points in the group would be very good."

Noussair Mazraoui and Marcel Sabitzer are one yellow card away from facing suspension in Bayern's round of 16 match. Luckily for the Bavarian club, Leroy Sané, Lucas Hernandez and Mauel Neuer have returned to training, but the Inter game is too soon for their return.

Bayern's hefty injury list includes Sané, Hernandez, Neuer, Matthijs de Ligt, Thomas Müller and Bouna Sarr.

Romelu Lukaku, Marcelo Brozovic, Gabriel Brazao and Dalbert are missing for Inter.
