Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong has reportedly attracted interest from Manchester United.

Per Sky Germany, Manchester United are looking into the possibility of signing Frimpong next summer.

The report claims Frimpong is aware of the interest from 'The Red Devils' and that he's open to a move to Old Trafford.

Whether Leverkusen can persuaded into selling their prized asset is unclear, but 'Die Werkself' are said to be already looking for a potential successor.

Bayer Leverkusen managing director for sport Simon Rolfes recently praised Frimpong's development in an interview with Bulinews.

"His ability to accelerate and decelerate is world-class. If you’re world-class at something at Celtic and in the Bundesliga, that’s also the case in other leagues. There were other things he had to improve when he came, and he has done fantastic. He has the right ambition to work on himself," Rolfes told Bulinews.
