Fantasy Bundesliga: 10 players to consider for Matchday 24
Here are 10 players you should consider bringing into your Fantasy Bundesliga team for Matchday 24.
Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 20%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 24.
Paulo Otavio, Wolfsburg (Defender, 8.7M, 18%)
Otavio is known for his ability to pick up plenty of points from winning duels, having reached double figures in three of his last five outings. This week, he should also have a good chance of keeping a clean sheet against a Union Berlin side, who have generally struggled for goals in 2023, although they did score three in the Europa League last night.
Jonas Hector, FC Köln (Defender, 11M, 13%)
Hector is among the most in-form defenders in the game, having scored double-digit points in four of his last five games. With Köln facing relegation-threatened Bochum at home on Friday, it's hard to look past him this week.
Christian Günter, Freiburg (Defender, 14.1M, 18%)
Although Günter hasn't been at his best in 2023, he remains the sixth-best performing defender in the game with 162 points. Freiburg face the league's most out-of-form side, Hoffenheim, in a stand-alone fixture at home this week, making the left-back an extremely intriguing option.
Linton Maina, FC Köln (Midfielder, 4.6M, 3%)
Maina started 2023 in excellent style, scoring a whopping 23 points in Köln's 7-1 win over Werder Bremen on Matchday 16. His returns have been disappointing since then, but this weekend's favorable matchup against Bochum offers a good chance for him to get back on track.
Florian Kainz, FC Köln (Midfielder, 9.5M, 15%)
Kainz is Köln's attacking talisman, on set pieces for 'The Billy Goats', has a great matchup on Friday and is even on sale this week.
Giovanni Reyna, Dortmund (Midfielder, 11.1M, 0%)
With Julian Brandt sidelined until the international break, Reyna is widely tipped to start on the wing against Schalke 04. The 20-year-old may have gone through a difficult spell, but his ability is undeniable and he could be a great differential until the international break if things click for him against Schalke.
Davie Selke, FC Köln (Striker, 4.7M, 0%)
After returning from injury, Selke is expected to lead the line for Köln against Bochum on Friday night. Owned by 0 percent and costing just 4.7 million, the striker could give you the perfect start to the matchday.
Ludovic Ajorque, Mainz (Striker, 8.8M, 1%)
Mainz are on a four-game winning streak and face a Hertha team that lost 4-1 to Bayer Leverkusen last week. Ajorque have scored double figures in three of their last four games and could be in for another productive outing against Hertha's leaky defense.
Michael Gregoritsch, Freiburg (Striker, 10.6M, 6%)
Gregoritsch missed Freiburg's game against Gladbach last week due to illness, but is now back in training. The striker has found the net 12 times in all competitions this season and has an attractive home match against out-of-form Hoffenheim.
Timo Werner, RB Leipzig (Striker, 15M, 1%)
Werner showed what he's capable of on Matchday 22 against Eintracht Frankfurt, picking up 14 points. With an ownership of 1 percent, the Germany international offers plenty of potential as a differential at home against a Gladbach side who have suffered heavy defeats in their last two away games.
