Liverpool trigger Szoboszlai's release clause, per multiple reports

Several reports claim that Liverpool have decided to activate the €70 million release clause in Dominik Szoboszlai's contract with RB Leipzig.

Liverpool are reportedly set to complete the signing of Dominik Szoboszlai from RB Leipzig.

According to several sources, including Fabrizio Romano, Leipziger Volkszeitung and Sky Germany, the Reds have informed Leipzig that they will activate the €70 million release clause in Szoboszlai's contract.

Szoboszlai is said to have already agreed terms with Liverpool, meaning he only needs to pass a medical to complete the move to Anfield.

The 22-year-old Hungary international has spent the last two and a half years with RB Leipzig, making 91 appearances in all competitions, scoring 20 goals and providing 22 assists.
