Belgian transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri reports that, despite some late interest from both Burnley FC and Galatasaray Istanbul, BVB fullback Thomas Meunier will be finishing out his contract in Dortmund.

Dortmund fullback Thomas Meunier will finish out the remaining six months of his contract with his current club. Since the Ruhrpott club have zero interest in renewing the 32-year-old's expiring deal, the heavily capped Belgian international will be available this summer as a free agent. Meunier as his reported exorbitant salary have become quite the point of contention for the BVB as his time in Germany is widely regarded as highly disappointing.

Belgian transfer expert Sacha Tavolieri reports that - in addition to EPL side Burnley FC - Galatasaray Istanbul showed some interest in acquiring Meunier on the cheap, but a deal was not able to be realized. Injuries have recently pushed Meunier back into Edin Terzic's starting XI. He's started the last six league fixtures at right-back.
