Rose confirms Gulacsi will start over Blaswich against Union
Peter Gulacsi will replace Janis Blaswich in goal when RB Leipzig take on Union Berlin on Sunday.
RB Leipzig will make a change in goalkeeper for the upcoming home game against Union Berlin.
This was confirmed by RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
After three defeats in a row, the last one being an embarrassing 5-2 loss against Stuttgart, Peter Gulacsi will come into the starting line-up at the expense of Janis Blaswich on Sunday.
"I spoke to both goalkeepers yesterday, and Pete will be on the pitch on Sunday," said Rose.
He added that it's more of a decision for Gulacsi than a decision against Blaswich.
"It's not about Janis' performances, and we're not blaming him in any way," the Leipzig boss stressed.
"I said at the beginning of the year that we have top goalkeepers on absolute par. We've lost three games in a row, and that's why we want to try and bring new impulses to the position."
