Alejandro Grimaldo has brushed off questions about his future, saying he only wants to focus on the upcoming games with Bayer Leverkusen and Spain.

"I think there are rumors every summer. It always seems like I'm going to many different big clubs, but I'm concentrating on Bayer Leverkusen," Grimaldo told a press conference at the Spanish national team camp.

"The season is going very well. I want to continue working hard, win titles and play for Spain in the European Championship.

Who knows what will happen in the future, but right now I'm just thinking about the here and now, which is very nice.

Grimaldo has made an impressive impact since joining Leverkusen from Benfica last summer, with 11 goals and 15 assists in all competitions this season.
