Bayern München are being linked with a swap deal that would see Leroy Sané join from Manchester City, with Kingsley Coman moving in the opposite direction.

The Bavarians wanted to bring Sané to Germany in the summer, but were forced to cool their interest when the 23-year-old suffered a long-term injury that will keep him out until February at least.

Bayern remain keen on Sané and seem to have a good chance of landing the him in 2020 as Manchester City may want to cash in on the winger who's reportedly looking increasingly unlikely to extend his deal beyond 2021.

If Manchester City indeed let Sané go, the English champions will be looking to bring in a replacement for him. And according to reports, 'The Citizens' are looking into the possibility of signing Kingsley Coman from Bayern München.

According to Sky, Manchester City have been in contact with Coman's entourage for over a year, and their talks have intensified in recent weeks. And should Coman leave Bayern, he would prefer to move to Etihad Stadium as he would like to play under Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

Although Coman isn't currently considering departing Allianz Arena, he doesn't feel '100 percent valued' at the club, as per Sky. The fact that Bayern are so keen on signing another left winger in Sané has been somewhat of a blow to him.

Should the parties come to agreement on a swap deal, Bayern would probably still have to pay a sum of cash. Coman's market value is estimated at €60 million while Sané is worth €100 million.

Even if Coman wanted to leave, it would certainly be difficult for City to persuade Bayern into selling the French international who is under contract until 2023. The club bosses are happy with his development in Munich and would be reluctant to let him go, according to reports.
