Ludwig Augustinsson suffers hamstring injury
Werder Bremen will have to manage without Ludwig Augustinsson for a while.
Ludwig Augustinsson is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring injury in Werder Bremen's 1-0 loss against FC Köln on Saturday.
"It's obviously a shame that 'Ludde' has picked up another injury just a few weeks after his comeback. We hope he can return to training during winter training," said Werder coach Florian Kohfeldt in a statement on the club's website.
"Whether or not he will travel on the training camp will be decided when we return on 2nd January," he added.
Augustinsson missed the first few months of the season due to a knee injury.
