Lucien Favre: We could have scored even more goals

Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre hailed his players' performance after Friday's 5-1 victory over FC Köln.
Borussia Dortmund coach Lucien Favre was 'very satisfied' after his team's victory over FC Köln on Friday.

After watching his troops take a crushing 5-1 win, Favre said he believed the win could easily have been even bigger.

"I'm very satisfied. We could've actually scored even more goals, we had a lot of big chances. What ultimately counts is the three points, they were totally deserved. Cologne didn't have many chances, especially in the first half. I'm happy with how it panned out," Favre told reporters after the game, as quoted by the club.

Erling Haaland scored a brace after coming onto the pitch in the second half, taking his goal tally to five in the league after having played just 59 minutes of Bundesliga football.

"Erling scored three goals in Augsburg and another two at home. His goals were very important, as the fourth tonight wrapped up the win. He took the fifth very, very well too," Favre said on the 19-year-old's performance.
