Germany will face Ghana in a friendly on March 30 in Stuttgart, the German Football Association (DFB) announced on Monday.

Julian Nagelsmann's team had originally been scheduled to play Côte d’Ivoire. However, after being drawn against them in the World Cup group stage, Die Nationalelf will instead play a friendly against Ghana, who are coached by former Bundesliga player Otto Addo.

“We are very much looking forward to the duel with Otto’s team,” said head coach Julian Nagelsmann, adding:

“Their strong counter-attacking game can give us a taste of what’s to come in the World Cup group match against Côte d’Ivoire.”

Ghana have also qualified for the World Cup and have been drawn into Group L alongside England, Croatia and Panama.
