Jonas Hofmann: 'A draw would have been a fair result'

Gladbach should have taken something from today's game against Borussia Dortmund, says Jonas Hofmann.

Jonas Hofmann believes Borussia Mönchengladbach deserved to take a point from Saturday's 1-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund at Borussia-Park.

"A draw would have been a fair result. Not only should we have had a clear penalty, but we also created a lot of chances for ourselves outside of that too," the Gladbach midfielder said after the game, as quoted by the club.

"We have to be taking those chances, it’s the difference between an average team and being top team like Dortmund were today, a team who can score goals out of very little," he added.

Gladbach sit fifth in the Bundesliga table.
