Marcel Sabitzer: 'If things continue like this, there's no reason to leave the club'
Marcel Sabitzer has committed himself to RB Leipzig.
Marcel Sabitzer says he can't see why he should think about departing RB Leipzig at the moment.
"If things continue like this, there's no reason to leave the club," Sabitzer, whose contract runs until 2022, said in an interview with Kicker.
The 25-year-old made the move to Germany from RB Salzburg in 2015, at which point RB Leipzig were still playing in the 2. Bundesliga.
"It has been fun and special to help shape the club and bring it forward. I will still feel connected to the club and the city in 20 years."
Sabitzer has made 34 appearances this season, racking up 13 goals and eight assists.
