Werner has been linked with a summer exit, but Krösche claims no clubs have made an approach for the 24-year-old at this point.
"So far, there have been no inquiries for him, so I assume that he will be with us next year," Krösche told Bild.
"A lot depends on how the transfer market develops and whether all leagues will be completed," he added, referring to the coronavirus pandemic, which has lead to suspensions of most football leagues.
According to reports, Werner will be available for €60 million in the summer thanks to a release clause.
