Jonathan Tah set to stay at Leverkusen?

Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, who has been linked with a summer exit, now looks highly likely to stay.

Jonathan Tah is highly unlikely to leave Bayer Leverkusen at the end of the season, according to Sport Bild.

According to the German media outlet, Tah is prepared to stay at BayArena beyond the summer.

The centre-back has a €40 million release clause, which is reportedly only valid until May 31.

And while Arsenal are believed to be genuinely interested in the centre-back, Sport Bild claims that due to the coronavirus situation, it's 'practically impossible' that the clause will be triggered in time by 'The Gunners' – or any other club for that matter.

Tah's contract with 'Die Werkself' runs until 2023, and his release clause will be applicable next year.
