Davy Klaassen's agent rules out summer move

Davy Klaassen's agent, Søren Lerby, has stated there is nothing in reports linking his client with a move away from Werder Bremen.
Davy Klaassen will definitely stay at Werder Bremen this summer, says his agent, Søren Lerby.

The Werder Bremen midfielder has been linked with his former club Ajax among others, but Lerby underlines that the 27-year-old will be staying at the Weserstadion.

"The speculation about Davy's future can stop. He will definitely stay in Bremen," Lerby told Deichstube.

"Davy wants to play a better season with Werder than the last one. He's not the type to just walk away after a bad year."

Klaassen, who joined Werder from Everton for €13.50 million in 2018, played a total of 39 games in the 2019/20 season, chipping in with nine goals and seven assists.
