Report: RB Leipzig first German club to express interest in Leicester's Demarai Gray

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that RB Leipzig were the first German club to submit an inquiry for a young English attacker who's name is sure to pop up many times in coming transfer window.

Leicester City have a young talent to shop in the form of 24-year-old attacking winger Demarai Gray. The former England U21 star has seen his playing time significantly reduced for the foxes and will be out of contract this summer.

Steady reductions in his value render him a player the EPL club will surely want to cash in on during the coming transfer period. Gray has tallied just twice this season, yet still could fetch upwards of €10-12 million on the market.

Romano reports that AS Monaco and Leipzig have initiated contact with the Premiership club. The fact that a swift left-flank specialist would fill a dire need for many Bundesliga clubs likely means more queries are sure to follow.
