According to Sport Bild, 'Die Werkself' see Sulemana as a potential replacement for Leon Bailey, who is understood to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
The Jamaican international has reportedly started working with the agency 'Unique Sports Management' to increase his chances of getting his dream move to England after rediscovering his best form this season.
Bailey has been priced at around €40-50 million in the past, but Leverkusen can't expect to get that much for the 23-year-old due to the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, the Bundesliga side want to be prepared for Bailey's potential departure.
The 23-year-old has chipped in with nine goals and seven assists in 21 appearances this season. His contract expires in 2023.
