Florian Kohfeldt not expecting Milot Rashica to leave Werder this month

Werder Bremen coach Florian Kohfeldt says he can't see Milot Rashica leaving this month.
Milot Rashica is no longer expected to leave Werder Bremen this month, according to the Bundesliga club's head coach, Florian Kohfeldt.

The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Weserstadion in the past and came close to joining Bayer Leverkusen in October, but his transfer broke down on deadline day.

Afterwards, there was speculation that Rashica would be on the move in January instead, but Kohfeldt can't see him leaving before the transfer window closes.

"For me, there are currently no signs that he will not be in the starting eleven on Tuesday," Kohfeldt told reporters on Thursday, referring to Werder's DFB-Pokal encounter with Greuther Fürth next week.

"There have been loose inquiries for Milot, which are sometimes passed on to us by his agent, but we haven't had a concrete written offer on the table to think about in recent weeks," he added.

Rashica made his return from a hamstring injury earlier this month.
