Apparently, Leroy Sané was allowed to leave to be with his girlfriend, Candice Brook, who was set to give birth to their child.
Now, Leroy Sané's father, Souleyman Sané, has confirmed that the Manchester City star has become a father for the first time.
"My granddaughter was born yesterday. We are very happy. Her name is Rio Stella," Souleyman Sané told Bild.
Update: Leroy Sané has now confirmed the birth of his daughter, giving the following update on Twitter:
