Eberl: Zakaria 'has a lot of offers' to leave Gladbach

Borussia Mönchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl has come out and said that Swiss midfielder Denis Zakaria has many offers on the table as he edges closer to a move away from Gladbach.
The Swiss midfielder is in the final year of his current Borussia Mönchengladbach contract and looks set to leave Borussia-PARK. British newspaper The Daily Mail reports that both Manchester City and Arsenal are interested in signing the 24-year-old midfielder.

'There are a lot of offers [for Zakaria], so we'll have to wait and see what happens in the next few days and weeks,' Eberl confirmed at a press conference ahead of the Gladbach's DFB-Pokal game against Kaiserslautern.

Eberl had previously spoken about Zakaria's contract situation, as well as Germany defender Matthias Ginter's contract saying: "With Denis, we have been trying to extend his contract since October. Denis and his management have told us relatively clearly that they favor a transfer this summer if something comes up. Let's wait and see what happens."
