Arminia Bielefeld have completed the signing of 27-year-old Stefanos Kapino from Werder Bremen.

The Greek goalkeeper has inked a two-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.

"With Stefanos, we have now found an experienced goalkeeper whose qualities fit our team very well and complete our trio of goalkeepers," said Arminia managing director for sport Samir Arabi.

Kapino will compete for playing time with Bielefeld's first-choice goalkeeper, Stefan Ortega, and 18-year-old youngster Arne Schulz.

He featured just two times for Werder following his transfer to Germany from Nottingham Forest in 2018 and spent the second half of last season on loan at Sandhausen, making 18 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga.
