Former Premier League player Jermaine Pennant doesn't currently see Harry Kane as the best striker in the game.

Furthermore, Pennant told talkSPORT that the 32-year-old also ranks behind two former Borussia Dortmund strikers in his estimation.

However, he emphasized the England international's impressive statistics during his time at Tottenham Hotspur.

"Harry Kane has fantastic numbers in the Premier League," said the former Liverpool player.

“But Kane is not a better player now, at this moment, not in his past, than Alexander Isak. He is not better than Erling Haaland either,” he said.

Haaland became Europe's top scorer after leaving Dortmund for Manchester City, but also Pennant sees Swedish striker Isak even ahead of him too.

"Isak is the best number nine in the world when he's fit. Give him a few games, give him some time," the Englishman added.
