Sky: St. Pauli cult hero set for Wolfsburg switch
St. Pauli defender Hauke Wahl is set to join VfL Wolfsburg for next season.

After suffering a surprising defeat in the relegation battle with Paderborn, VfL Wolfsburg are busy creating their new squad in order to get right back to the Bundesliga.
After already securing the services of Hertha BSC Berlin captain Fabian Reese earlier this week, die Wölfe have now taken a closer look at their “relegation partner” St. Pauli:
According to Sky Germany, St. Pauli cult hero Hauke Wahl is set to join Wolfsburg! Both clubs have come to an agreement over a transfer fee, which is supposedly set at €2 million with add-ons included. Wahl will sign a contract until June 2029.
