In a Champions League clash between two teams on 10 points and clinging to a top-24 spot, VfB Stuttgart take on Paris Saint-Germain at the MHPArena on Wednesday.

After winning their last two Champions League games, the Swabians need another victory to guarantee a top-24 finish and a place in the knockout stages.

Sebastian Hoeness' side will be keen to bounce back from a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Mainz at the weekend, which ended a four-match winning run.

PSG also disappointed at the weekend, as their impressive 4-2 win over Manchester City was followed by an underwhelming 1-1 draw with Reims.

However, that shouldn't be too much of a worry for the French capital club, as they remain firmly at the top of the Ligue 1 table, and their focus will now be on getting the result they need to progress on Wednesday.

On the personnel front, Anthony Rouault (suspension), Dan-Axel Zagadou (knee) and El Bilal Touré (foot) are out for Stuttgart, while Alexander Nübel (cold) is a major doubt. Jacob Bruun Larsen and Nick Woltemade, who both started at the weekend, are ineligible.

Nuno Mendes (suspension) is unavailable for Paris Saint-Germain.
