Report: Tapsoba has the highest release clause in the Bundesliga

It would apparently take a special offer to buy Edmond Tapsoba out of his contract with Bayer Leverkusen.
According to Sport Bild, the center back has a €100 million exit clause in his contract.
This makes him the player with the highest release clause in the Bundesliga, according to the report.
Tapsoba last extended his contract with Leverkusen in September, committed himself to the club until 2028.
He has previously been linked with a move to England and commented on the rumors surrounding his future in an exclusive interview with Bulinews.com in February last year.
“That makes me happy, of course. It’s something that shows I’m doing a good job and that I just need to continue. But Leverkusen is a big club, my head and heart are fully here right now, and then we'll see what the next step will be,” he told Bulinews.com.
