According to the Hamburger Abendblatt, Fábio Vieira has made the final decision to play for Hamburger SV again next season.

Now, an agreement with the midfielder's parent club Arsenal is needed to complete a permanent move to the Hanseatic club.

HSV originally had a €22million purchase option which has since expired – they were either unwilling to pay or unable to exercise.

However, Arsenal now appear willing to let the left-footed player go for less, reportedly in the region of €10-15million package.

HSV, on the other hand, is unwilling to invest more than a single-digit million euro amount for the Portuguese playmaker.

The Bundesliga club will carefully consider how far they are willing to stretch to sign a single player with one year left on his contract.

Should the clubs actually reach an agreement for the former FC Porto talent, a four-year contract is already lined up for Vieira.
