Unlike Toni Kroos and Thomas Müller, who have both decided to retire from international football after Euro 2024, Manuel Neuer has yet to make a decision on whether he will continue to represent Germany.

In an interview with Sport1, Germany sporting director Rudi Völler says he expects the 38-year-old to make a decision soon.

"It will certainly be before the next squad is announced, which will be the week after next. Until then, a decision will be made regarding Manuel," Völler said.

He added that he believes Neuer “deserves to have the first say on how to proceed.”

Neuer made his Germany debut in 2009 and has represented his country 124 times.
