“Only full throttle”: Kimmich demands Bayern show their quality against Dortmund

Ahead of the Bundesliga’s headline clash with Borussia Dortmund, Joshua Kimmich left no doubt about FC Bayern Munich’s mindset going into the "Topspiel".

The “Klassiker” is almost here - and FC Bayern captain Joshua Kimmich (Manuel Neuer is injured) demands the best performance from his team:

“Today it’s full throttle for us,” Kimmich declared before kick-off. “The normal weeks have done us good. We were able to fully focus on our game, improve it, and work on our qualities - and that’s what we want to bring onto the pitch and beat Dortmund.”

The midfielder’s comments reflect a renewed sense of clarity in Munich. After a demanding spell packed with fixtures, Bayern have benefited from a more structured training rhythm, allowing them to fine-tune tactical details and sharpen their strengths.

For Kimmich, the equation is simple: intensity, focus, and conviction. Against their rival, Bayern are not just aiming to perform - they want to make a statement.

With both pride and crucial points on the line, the tone has been set. Full throttle.
