Bayer 04 Leverkusen have announced a contract extension for Patrik Schick.

The prolific Czech striker has signed a new deal with Die Werkself that will keep him at the club until 2030.

“With Patrik Schick’s commitment, we have not only convinced one of Europe’s most clinical strikers of our vision, but we have also secured a leader for our team as we pursue the highest goals in the coming years,” said Bayer Leverkusen’s managing director for sport, Simon Rolfes.

“As Bayer 04 embark on the next cycle, we see Patrik as a driving force behind our development. He combines exceptional footballing quality and an outstanding goal-scoring record with vast international experience, and he will provide the squad with the stability and structure it needs,” Rolfes added.

Schick, who has scored 81 goals for Die Werkself since joining in 2020, commented:

“I want to and will continue to contribute my goals—that is my strength. Beyond that, I look forward to being a pillar in building a new, title-worthy team.

“I’m excited about the future. Bayer 04 is working intensively on assembling a top squad for the years ahead, and I firmly believe we will continue to play a major role both in the Bundesliga and in Europe.”
