Nico Williams is back on Bayern Munich's radar according to TZ München journalists Philipp Kessler and Menzel López.

Bayern were already considering the left winger in the spring of last year. At the time, not everyone in charge was convinced of his abilities.

However, after he played a brilliant Euros with Spain, Uli Hoeneß was in the stands at the semi-final against France in Munich – and he liked what Williams showed.

Athletic currently expect Williams to stay and play with them in the Champions League next season.

However, should he be open to a move, he would likely demand a salary of at least €10million per year.

Bilbao also point out that the rumoured €60million release clause was never made public, so it shouldn't be taken too seriously.
