Germany will face World Cup co-hosts the United States at Soldier Field in Chicago in the final friendly for both sides before the start of the big event. Both teams won their penultimate games last Saturday against Finland and Senegal, respectively.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side faced a major blow yesterday as Lennart Karl will be out of the tournament after sustaining a serious injury during training. Fellow youngster Assan Ouédraogo will take his place, but he’s not ready for tonight’s friendly. Meanwhile, Manuel Neuer is still out as he continues his recovery from an injury he picked up in Bayern’s last Bundesliga game.

The hosts are only missing Neuer’s former teammate Chris Richards from their World Cup roster. Including the star player Christian Pulisic, Mauricio Pochettino’s side includes several past and present Bundesliga players.

The two teams will start their final friendly as follows before the big showdown.
