Kicker and reports from Turkey claim that VfB Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeneß is on Fenerbahce’s list of potential replacements for José Mourinho, who was recently relieved of his duties.

According to Kicker, neither Hoeneß nor Stuttgart have been contacted by the Turkish club.

Interestingly, the two sides will meet during the Europa League group stage on 23 October.

Hoeneß still has three years remaining on his contract with Stuttgart.

Other names reportedly on Fenerbahce’s shortlist include former Borussia Dortmund coaches Edin Terzic and Nuri Sahin, as well as ex-Bayer Leverkusen coach Roger Schmidt.
