Gnabry and Goretzka expected to stay put at Bayern

Top journalist Florian Plettenberg has shone some light on Bayern's squad for the 2025-26 campaign.

According to Sky Germany, the clear tendency is that both Serge Gnabry and Leon Goretzka will stay at Bayern Munich this summer.

Bayern had a conversation with Gnabry's camp - the club wants to keep him as an option on the right wing behind Michael Olise.

Furthermore, Leroy Sané's move to Galatasaray means Die Rekordmeister will be keen to keep some quality in reserve on the bench.

Leon Goretzka, meanwhile, has no intention of leaving Bayern even though he remains a candidate for sale.

Joshua Kimmich and Aleksandar Pavlovic are expected to form the preferred double-six pivot, with Goretzka, Conrad Laimer and Joao Palhinha as cover.
