After missing Bayern Munich’s 5-0 Bundesliga win over FC St. Pauli at the weekend due to a minor knee problem, Serge Gnabry is fully fit again.
Bayern coach Vincent Kompany confirmed at a press conference on Tuesday that the 30-year-old is ready to play the full game when FC Bayern face Real Madrid in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.
“He's fit,” Kompany said.
“Serge can play 90 minutes. We've travelled so much in recent weeks and didn't want to take any risk when we've got a full squad,” he added, explaining Gnabry’s absence from the squad at the weekend.
"But we're not thinking about minutes. Essentially, every player here can fight for the whole game."
Only Sven Ulreich (groin) and Lennart Karl (hamstring) are unavailable for Bayern, who carry a 2-1 advantage into Wednesday’s return leg.
